About Me

Hi, I’m Gabrielle, in San Marcos, Texas.

I’m a Texas-based writer, photographer, wellness enthusiast, and breast cancer survivor who believes women don’t disappear after 50.

A little over a decade ago, my life took an unexpected turn. First came divorce. Then, just one year later, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer. Those experiences challenged me in ways I never imagined, but they also taught me some of life’s most valuable lessons about resilience, gratitude, strength, and the importance of taking care of ourselves.

Today, at 55, I continue to embrace new adventures, whether that’s teaching fitness classes, exploring the Texas Hill Country with my camera, building a business, or creating this blog.

I created Wild Seasonal Living because I wanted to connect with other women navigating this season of life, whether it be prioritizing their health, embracing aging with confidence, pursuing new dreams, and/or creating meaningful lives on their own terms.

Here you’ll find articles about:

  • Healthy aging
  • Wellness and movement
  • Beauty and skincare
  • Confidence and personal growth
  • Seasonal living
  • Porch styling and inspired spaces
  • Photography and storytelling
  • Life’s lessons, both big and small

I am not a doctor, scientist, or wellness expert. What I bring is lived experience, curiosity, and a genuine desire to learn and share what I’ve discovered along the way.

My hope is that Wild Seasonal Living becomes a place where women feel encouraged, inspired, and reminded that every season of life has something beautiful to offer.

Thank you for being here. And Welcome to Wild Seasonal Living.

An elegant still life of a wooden dining table set for a simple, seasonal meal: a stoneware bowl filled with roasted root vegetables, a small dish of sea salt, a linen napkin in muted earth tones, and a glass carafe of infused water with floating citrus slices and herbs. The table sits beside a window framing soft autumn foliage outside. Late afternoon golden-hour light pours in, catching the edges of the glass and the sheen of olive oil on the vegetables. The mood is warm, grounded, and nourishing. Photographic realism, eye-level composition with shallow depth of field, keeping the food crisp and detailed while gently blurring the background for a sophisticated, cozy feel.

Living Vibrantly In Every Season

Wild Seasonal Living grew from my own midlife reset—trading hustle for rhythm, honoring hormones, seasons, and intuition. Here, women 50+ find gentle guidance to feel strong, beautiful, and deeply at home in their changing bodies.

A beautifully styled flat lay of a seasonal wellness journal open to a page titled “Intentions for This Season,” with neat handwritten notes and delicate botanical sketches. Surrounding it are a linen-covered hardcover book, a sprig of eucalyptus, a ceramic mug of herbal tea with a slice of lemon, and a beeswax candle in a glass holder. Everything rests on a light oak table near a large window. Soft morning light streams in, casting gentle shadows and a warm, inviting glow. Photographic realism, shot from directly overhead with a sharp focus on the journal and a subtly blurred outer edge, creating a sophisticated, calm, and reflective atmosphere perfect for a lifestyle blog hero image.
